A Wonderful Gift

When I was younger, I created an acrylic painting inspired by a photo graph of some hills in Virginia. As I finished the scene, I felt it needed something, and added two figures, a young couple man wiht his arm around his lady, looking out over the hills and valleys in the image.

That same Christmas, I wanted to give my grandparents something special for Christmas. Not having much money of my own to spend, I aquired a frame for the painting, wrapped it up nicely and gave what I thought was one of my best paintings then to my grandparents.

I was very proud of this particular work, and even happier that my grandparents loved it. It left me witht the thought, what a wonderful gift.

Reflecting on this memory inspired me to do a holiday sale this year.

Oringinal oil paintings make a wonderful gift, which lasts a lifetime.

So I am offering paintings on my holiday sale page at a discounted price for the holiday season. Once the new year hits, these paintings will go back up to my usual sale prices. These paintings are being sold unframed, which helps keep the cost lower.
