In the Wind

Caught in a gust, eyes lifted, fur alive with motion—In the Wind captures a fleeting moment of wild joy and alertness. This portrait of a Border Collie channels the spirit of movement and devotion, rendered in fluid watercolor washes and storm-toned streaks. The background suggests rain or wind, a natural force that mirrors the dog’s energy and focus.Painted on archival paper with expressive brushwork, this piece is both a tribute and a study: of loyalty, motion, and the quiet bond between animal and atmosphere. It invites the viewer to feel the wind, hear the breath, and remember the moments when instinct meets emotion.
