This painting is inspired by the coastal dunes of Cape May, New Jersey — a place close to my heart. I grew up walking these paths, where the breeze off the Atlantic mingles with the scent of sun-warmed grass, and the light shifts gently across the horizon. With rich oil textures and sunlit tones, I set out to capture not just the scenery, but the feeling of being there — grounded, reflective, and at peace.
